Epoxy Flooring
A durable and high-performance flooring system made from a mixture of resin and hardener. When these two components are combined, they chemically react to form a rigid, plastic-like surface that bonds strongly to concrete and other base layers. Epoxy floors are well-known for their durability, resistance to chemicals, and glossy finish, making them ideal for industrial, commercial, and even residential use.
It is applied by first cleaning and prepping the surface, usually concrete, through grinding or shot-blasting. A primer is then applied to seal cracks and improve adhesion. The epoxy resin and hardener are mixed and poured, then spread evenly with rollers or squeegees. Optional additives like slip resistance or decorative flakes can be added before curing. After the base coat cures, a top coat is applied for protection and a glossy finish, with a final curing period of 48 to 72 hours for a durable, seamless surface.
